# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It brilliantly mimics the flavor and fun of a classic margarita without alcohol or fuss.
  • Blending frozen mango with fresh lime and spice creates a slushy that never gets boring.
02 -
  • Once I tried using regular table salt for the rim and it was way too harsh—stick to coarse or Tajín.
  • Blending too long melts the ice and thins the drink, so pulse patiently and stop as soon as it's slushy.
03 -
  • Keep your mango chunks frozen until the last moment—otherwise the texture and chill suffer.
  • A quick swirl of Tajín on the rim adds flavor depth and a festive look without overpowering the drink.
