07 - 8 oz short pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini)
08 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil
09 - 2 cups beef or chicken broth
10 - 1 tsp paprika
11 - 1 tsp dried oregano
12 - 1 tsp dried basil
13 - ½ tsp ground black pepper
14 - 1 tsp salt, or to taste

15 - ½ tsp chili powder
16 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# Directions:

01 - Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add beef or turkey and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 5 to 7 minutes.
02 - Add chopped onion and diced bell pepper to the pot and cook for 3 minutes until softened.
03 - Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
04 - Mix in tomato paste, paprika, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly to coat the meat and vegetables.
05 - Pour in diced tomatoes and broth. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 15 minutes if using turkey or 25 minutes if using beef, until meat is tender.
06 - Add pasta to the pot, stir well, cover, and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
07 - Taste and adjust salt or spices if needed. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
