# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like you spent hours at a tiki bar, but you're standing in your kitchen in five minutes flat.
  • No alcohol means everyone at your table can genuinely enjoy it together, from kids to designated drivers.
  • The lime and pineapple combo is bright enough to feel indulgent, but simple enough that you won't overthink it.
02 -
  • Freshly squeezed lime juice makes the entire difference between something that tastes homemade-special and something that tastes like a juice box—don't trust bottled unless you have absolutely no choice.
  • If you're adding the agave, add it to the shaker before shaking; otherwise it won't dissolve properly and you'll get pockets of sweetness rather than an even flavor throughout.
03 -
  • Invest in a cheap cocktail shaker—it's five dollars and transforms how this drink tastes by actually chilling and aerating the mixture properly.
  • For parties, pre-cut your garnishes and chill your glasses an hour ahead, so all you're doing at party time is pouring and shaking.
