06 - 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
07 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
08 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
11 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch square or round baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, combine thawed apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, flour, and lemon juice. Toss until evenly mixed.
03 - Evenly spread the apple mixture in the prepared baking dish.
04 - In a separate bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in the melted butter until coarse crumbs form.
05 - Evenly sprinkle the oat crumble over the apples.
06 - Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the topping turns golden brown and the apples are bubbling.
07 - Allow to cool at least 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
